Reggie Jackson (born April 16, 1990, in Pordenone, Italy) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played three seasons for the Boston CollegeEagles men's basketball team. After that, he declared for the 2011 NBA Draft and later, was selected as 24th pick of the first round by Oklahoma City Thunder.
As a senior at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jackson won the 2007–08 Gatorade Colorado Boys' Basketball Player of the Year. Jackson arrived at Boston College and joined a team that was already armed with stars such as Tyrese Rice and Rakim Sanders. In Jackson's freshman season, the Eagles made the NCAA Tournament with Jackson being used as an explosive weapon off the bench. In his second season, Jackson stepped into a starting role following the departure of Tyrese Rice, but the Eagles were unable to make it back to the NCAA Tournament. As a junior, he led the Eagles in scoring for the 2010–11 season with 18.2 points per game. Jackson was named to the All-ACC First team for the 2010–11 season, along with Nolan Smith, Jordan Williams, Malcolm Delaney and Kyle Singler. The Eagles made the National Invitation Tournament. After his junior season, Jackson declared for the NBA Draft.

Professional career
Oklahoma City Thunder (2011–present)
Jackson saw limited action in his first season with the Thunder, averaging 11.1 minutes per game over 45 games. Jackson scored over three points per game but shot only 32% from the field, and that percentage dropped to 21% when Jackson took shots beyond the arc. Jackson also spent a small amount of time in the NBA D-League.
The next season his minutes and production steadily increased. In game 2 of the first round playoff series against the Houston Rockets, Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City's All-Star starting point guard, was injured with a torn meniscus, and Jackson was promoted to a starting role. In his first career start, he had 14 points, 2 rebounds and an assist, helping OKC win game 3. As a starter during the playoffs, Jackson had averages of 15.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.
